This is a pre-owned Hofner 500 1 Violin Bass, a replica of the instrument that was released in 1964. There isn t anything out there that sounds quite like a Hofner bass – there s a reason these have been an industry standard instrument for decades. This bass is in overall excellent condition with little to no wear on it, and includes the original hardshell case.
